Since 1991 Laurie has helped dozens of companies enhance customer service, increase productivity, cut costs, and win big deals, serving a diverse spectrum of clients in financial services, high tech, law, non-profit, retail, and professional consulting firms. With hi-tech firms, her proposals boast a win rate of 75%.
A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Waterloo, Laurie has taught business communications at Seneca, Humber, and Sheridan Colleges as well as the University of Toronto, and trains executives and entrepreneurs to awaken their inner writer. Laurie has proven an inspiring public speaker for business clubs and trade organizations. Author of Red Wine & Popcorn: Doing Business like a Bohemian (2004), she is now working on her second book, a panoramic exploration of the history of civilization.
